Artificially intelligent avatar and capable of mimicking every action...but with a mind of its own. How will TEO react to you? TEO is an innovative interactive artwork that uses A.I facial detection & expression recognition to animate virtual avatars. TEO explores how computers perceive the human face, future virtual avatar mimicry / depiction and human / computer interagency.
Since November 2017 I have been collaborating with artist Henry Driver on TEO. The project was funded and supported by Collusion as part of the Bury St Emdunds R & D project, and then on a residency towards the Collusion final showcase, The Junction, Cambridge 4 - 14 April 2019.
